Biography: Michel is based in London and Head of Fixed Income Strategy at Barclays Private Bank. He is responsible for the thought leadership with regards to fixed income markets for Barclays Private Bank globally and is a frequent public speaker providing insights about Fixed Income markets and the global macro environment. He brings over 25 years of experience helping ultra-high net worth, family office and corporate clients investing in global bond markets. Prior to his current role he led private bank sales and trading teams at Barclays and UBS Wealth Management and managed client fixed income portfolios within an advisory set up. Michel started his career in the Investment Bank Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in Frankfurt Germany as a product and sales specialist. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Applied Science Kaiserslautern Germany and is a CFA charter holder.
