Alexandre Guignot

- Alexandre Guignot is Head of Credit E-Trading Europe at BNP Paribas, where he leads the bank’s electronic Credit Trading franchise across the region. He joined BNP Paribas in August 2025, bringing over fifteen years of experience at the forefront of Credit Algorithmic Trading and E-Commerce. Prior to BNP Paribas, Alexandre spent four and a half years at Citi, rising to Director and EMEA Head of Credit Quantitative Trading. In that role he oversaw Corporate Bond Algorithmic Market Making, Portfolio Trading, and Fixed Income ETF Trading. Before Citi, he built a decade-long career at HSBC Global Banking and Markets, progressing from Quantitative Analyst in the Risk Valuation Group through to Associate Director for Credit Algorithmic Trading. Alexandre is recognised as one of the leading algorithmic trading practitioners in London, combining deep expertise in electronic market structure with a rigorous quantitative foundation.
